Abstract
This research study uses empirical modeling to predict the stability of nano-green fluids, which are designed with a full factorial experimentation design. All experiments were designed, and the analysis was performed by Minitab software. The stability of Al₂O₃/CNT-castor oil was measured by zeta potential, and Al₂O₃/ CNT-jojoba oil was measured by visual sedimentation over days. The dependent variables in each design are magnetic stirring and sonication bath times with three levels for each oil type. The resulting empirical models proved highly effective, with R-squared values exceeding 95% for all formulations. Specifically, the models for castor oil stability reached R-squared values of 98.16% (Al₂O₃) and 99.74% (CNT). Furthermore, the models for sedimentation stability reach 98.26% (CNT-jojoba) and 95.49% (Al₂O₃-jojoba). The K-fold cross validation can build robust modeling. The empirical models can relate the preparation times robustly with the stability of nanofluids
